Research Approach

CBS research applies a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, combining scientific inquiry with real-world action to ensure continuous learning, relevance, and impact.

Participatory Action Research (PAR)

CBS research uses a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. This method has two main goals: the generation of scientific knowledge and the achievement of meaningful action.

PAR is highly effective because it allows for continuous monitoring of the intervention. Researchers play an active advisory role during implementation, enabling them to propose alternative strategies based on ongoing research observations and the specific context in which the intervention is applied.

Key Characteristics of PAR

Data Collection Tools

Semi-Structured Interviews In-depth exploration of personal experiences and perspectives.
Questionnaires / Surveys Collection of quantitative data to identify broader patterns.
Focus Group Discussions Collective reflection and dialogue among participants.
Participant Observation Direct engagement with the intervention process in real settings.
Significant Change Stories Documentation of meaningful transformations experienced by participants.
