Promoting community dialogue in the context of conflict

HOME / OUR WORK / PROJECTS

The “Promoting community dialogue in the context of conflict” project is being implemented in South Kivu in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It is a Tailor-Made Training project funded by NUFFIC that runs from 2019 to 2020. In this particular project we work with the Congolese organization Paix et Développement Durable (PDD), an organization which is initiated by community-based sociotherapy facilitators. Our partner the Free University of Amsterdam (VU) provides trainings on organizational development and resource mobilization and CBS provides trainings on monitoring and evaluation and gender mainstreaming. In the project also sociotherapy facilitators are being trained to become sociotherapy trainers.
